(Thanh tra) – Within the framework of the official launch event of the latest Vietnamese translation of the GRI Standards, LPF FUND and its international partners announced several key cooperation programs aimed at driving the green financial ecosystem and assisting Vietnamese enterprises in accessing ESG standards and international capital sources.
Representatives of LPF FUND and Golden Gate BCE Group (the Netherlands – Singapore – Vietnam) sign the official cooperation agreement.
On July 29, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) officially announced the latest Vietnamese translation of the GRI Standards, including Universal Standards, Sector Standards, and Topic Standards.
According to GRI, by having easier access to the world’s most widely used sustainability reporting standards, businesses in Vietnam will be able to identify, manage, and disclose their most significant impacts on the economy, the environment, and people.
GRI programs in Vietnam are supporting organizations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, through training, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing. Along with the new Vietnamese translation, these activities will help organizations assess sector-specific impacts, enhance value chain resilience, and meet the expectations of international markets as well as sustainable finance providers.
Within the framework of the event, LPF FUND and Golden Gate BCE Group (the Netherlands – Singapore – Vietnam) signed an official cooperation agreement, aiming to mobilize approximately EUR 210 million to implement priority projects in sustainable agriculture, logistics, deep processing, and the circular economy in Vietnam.
According to the signed agreement, LPF FUND will serve as the focal point in Vietnam for developing project portfolios, standardizing investment dossiers in accordance with ESG and GRI standards, managing investment programs, coordinating with regulatory authorities, and carrying out periodic reporting to investors.
Meanwhile, Golden Gate BCE Group will oversee connecting international financial institutions, arranging capital sources, advising on Green Bonds and Blended Finance, and promoting investment for each specific project.

Representatives of LPF FUND and Golden Gate BCE Group sign the official cooperation agreement, aiming to connect international green capital sources for sustainable development projects in Vietnam.
Both parties also agreed to prioritize the implementation of 10 strategic projects, prominently featuring the Vietnam Cocoa Industry Logistics Scheme, the Cocoa and Chocolate Logistics Complex in Dak Lak, alongside projects on raw material zone development, carbon credits, forest conservation, and the circular economy.
The cooperation framework is built on the principles of transparency, compliance with Vietnamese law and international standards, aiming to build trust with investors and expand access to high-quality capital flows.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Huynh Quoc Khanh, CEO of LPF FUND, stated that sustainable development is no longer an option but has become an inevitable requirement for businesses amidst the green transition and increasingly stringent investment standards. According to him, the GRI Standards are becoming a “common language” helping enterprises communicate with investors, financial institutions, and international markets.
Mr. Khanh highly appreciated the role of GRI, international partners, and Golden Gate BCE Group in bringing sustainability reporting standards closer to Vietnamese enterprises, while expanding access to funding sources such as Green Bonds, Climate Finance, or Blended Finance. He emphasized that when projects are standardized under ESG and GRI, opportunities to mobilize international capital will become more feasible and effective.
The representative of LPF FUND also affirmed that ESG is not merely a set of business evaluation criteria, but a foundation to build trust with investors, mobilize long-term capital flows, and elevate Vietnam’s sustainable development projects to international markets.
In the coming time, LPF FUND will continue collaborating with domestic and international partners to promote the adoption of the GRI Standards in building, managing, and raising capital for key projects, particularly in sustainable agriculture, green logistics, the circular economy, and emissions reduction.
